לֹ֤א עֲלִיתֶם֙ בַּפְּרָצ֔וֹת וַתִּגְדְּר֥וּ גָדֵ֖ר עַל־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲמֹ֥ד בַּמִּלְחָמָ֖ה בְּי֥וֹם יְהוָֽה׃

Ihr seid nicht in die Brüche gegangen und habt auch nicht die Hecke für das Haus Israel gebildet, um am Tag des HERRN in der Schlacht zu stehen.

You have not gone up into the breaches You did not do good deeds so that you could prevent the evil from coming.
