וּנְטַשְׁתִּ֣יךָ הַמִּדְבָּ֗רָה אוֹתְךָ֙ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־דְּגַ֣ת יְאֹרֶ֔יךָ עַל־פְּנֵ֤י הַשָּׂדֶה֙ תִּפּ֔וֹל לֹ֥א תֵאָסֵ֖ף וְלֹ֣א תִקָּבֵ֑ץ לְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֛רֶץ וּלְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם נְתַתִּ֥יךָ לְאָכְלָֽה׃
Und ich werde dich in die Wüste werfen, dich und alle Fische deiner Flüsse; Du sollst auf das offene Feld fallen; Du sollst nicht zusammengebracht oder versammelt werden; Zu den Tieren der Erde und zu den Hühnern des Himmels habe ich dich zum Essen gegeben.
Rashi on Ezekiel
And I will scatter you in the desert [Heb. וּנְטַשְּׁתִּיךָ,] e etandre toy in Old French, and I shall spread you out. This is the perishing of fish: once they are spread out on the surface of the dry land, they die.
