וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנֵּ֥ה נַפְשִׁ֖י לֹ֣א מְטֻמָּאָ֑ה וּנְבֵלָ֨ה וּטְרֵפָ֤ה לֹֽא־אָכַ֙לְתִּי֙ מִנְּעוּרַ֣י וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה וְלֹא־בָ֥א בְּפִ֖י בְּשַׂ֥ר פִּגּֽוּל׃ (ס)

Dann sagte ich: 'Ah Herr GOTT! Siehe, meine Seele ist nicht verschmutzt worden. denn seit meiner Jugend bis jetzt habe ich nicht von dem gegessen, was von selbst stirbt oder von Tieren zerrissen ist; Weder kam dort verabscheut Fleisch in meinen Mund.'
