שְׁלִשִׁ֗ית בָּא֤וּר תַּבְעִיר֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר כִּמְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֣י הַמָּצ֑וֹר וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֣ אֶת־הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗ית תַּכֶּ֤ה בַחֶ֙רֶב֙ סְבִ֣יבוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ תִּזְרֶ֣ה לָר֔וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
Ein dritter Teil sollst du mitten in der Stadt im Feuer verbrennen, wenn die Tage der Belagerung erfüllt sind; und du sollst einen dritten Teil nehmen und ihn mit dem Schwert um sie schlagen; und einen dritten Teil sollst du in den Wind zerstreuen, und ich werde ein Schwert nach ihnen ziehen.
