כַּעֲנָבִ֣ים בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר מָצָ֙אתִי֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כְּבִכּוּרָ֤ה בִתְאֵנָה֙ בְּרֵ֣אשִׁיתָ֔הּ רָאִ֖יתִי אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם הֵ֜מָּה בָּ֣אוּ בַֽעַל־פְּע֗וֹר וַיִּנָּֽזְרוּ֙ לַבֹּ֔שֶׁת וַיִּהְי֥וּ שִׁקּוּצִ֖ים כְּאָהֳבָֽם׃
Ich fand Israel wie Trauben in der Wüste. Ich sah deine Väter als die Erstreifen im Feigenbaum in ihrer ersten Jahreszeit. Aber sobald sie nach Baal-Peor kamen, trennten sie sich von dem beschämenden Ding und wurden verabscheuungswürdig wie das, was sie liebten.
