וַתִּשְׁכַּ֞ח יְהוָ֣ה עֹשֶׂ֗ךָ נוֹטֶ֣ה שָׁמַיִם֮ וְיֹסֵ֣ד אָרֶץ֒ וַתְּפַחֵ֨ד תָּמִ֜יד כָּל־הַיּ֗וֹם מִפְּנֵי֙ חֲמַ֣ת הַמֵּצִ֔יק כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר כּוֹנֵ֖ן לְהַשְׁחִ֑ית וְאַיֵּ֖ה חֲמַ֥ת הַמֵּצִֽיק׃
Dass du vergisst des Herrn, deines Schöpfers, der ausgespannt den Himmel und gegründet die Erde; du zitterst beständig, alle Tage, vor dem Zorn des Bedrückers, der dich verderben will? Wo ist nun der Zorn des Bedrückers?
