וְ֠אָמַר יֹשֵׁ֨ב הָאִ֣י הַזֶּה֮ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַהוּא֒ הִנֵּה־כֹ֣ה מַבָּטֵ֗נוּ אֲשֶׁר־נַ֤סְנוּ שָׁם֙ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה לְהִ֨נָּצֵ֔ל מִפְּנֵ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֑וּר וְאֵ֖יךְ נִמָּלֵ֥ט אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ (ס)
Die Einwohner dieser Landschaft [Judäa] werden an jenem Tage sich sagen: Also erging es dem, auf den wir unsere Hoffnung gesetzt, zu dem wir uns flüchten und ihn um Hilfe bitten wollten — wie wird es nun uns ergehen?
