חָרַ֤שׁ בַּרְזֶל֙ מַֽעֲצָ֔ד וּפָעַל֙ בַּפֶּחָ֔ם וּבַמַּקָּב֖וֹת יִצְּרֵ֑הוּ וַיִּפְעָלֵ֙הוּ֙ בִּזְר֣וֹעַ כֹּח֔וֹ גַּם־רָעֵב֙ וְאֵ֣ין כֹּ֔חַ לֹא־שָׁ֥תָה מַ֖יִם וַיִּיעָֽף׃
Der Eisenschmied [Der Prophet verspottet die Götzendiener und ihr törichtes Treiben.]) fertigt ein Beil au, er arbeitet es in der Kohlenglut aus und mit Hämmern bildet er es, dann bearbeitet er es mit seinem kräftigen Arme, er hungert sogar dabei und hat keine Kraft mehr, er trinkt kein Wasser und ermattet.

יצרהו He fashioneth it. Comp. צורה form, or, what is still better, יצירה formation.19It can hardly be discovered, why I. E. gives the latter the preference. As to the meaning of the word there can be no difference whether it is compared with צורה or with יצירה, since the latter could in this instance only signify formation, not creation. With regard to the etymology there can be no doubt that the word is to be derived from יצר, and not from צור.
