Ein Schwert ist auf den Prahlern, und sie werden Narren werden; Ein Schwert ist auf ihren mächtigen Männern, und sie werden bestürzt sein.

and they shall become foolish with their divining. Similar to this is: “Who frustrates the signs of imposters” (Isa. 44:25), and so did Jonathan render. They are called בּדים because they fabricate (בּוֹדִים) and say false things.
