דַּרְכֵ֨י צִיּ֜וֹן אֲבֵל֗וֹת מִבְּלִי֙ בָּאֵ֣י מוֹעֵ֔ד כָּל־שְׁעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ שֽׁוֹמֵמִ֔ין כֹּהֲנֶ֖יהָ נֶאֱנָחִ֑ים בְּתוּלֹתֶ֥יהָ נּוּג֖וֹת וְהִ֥יא מַר־לָֽהּ׃ (ס)
Die Straßen von Zion sind traurig, weil niemand zur festgesetzten Jahreszeit kommt; Alle ihre Tore sind verlassen, ihre Priester stöhnen. Ihre Mädchen trauern, während sie selbst bitter leidet.
