וְאֵת֩ שַׁ֨עַר הָעַ֜יִן הֶ֠חֱזִיק שַׁלּ֣וּן בֶּן־כָּל־חֹזֶה֮ שַׂ֣ר פֶּ֣לֶךְ הַמִּצְפָּה֒ ה֤וּא יִבְנֶ֙נּוּ֙ וִיטַֽלְלֶ֔נּוּ ויעמידו [וְיַעֲמִיד֙] דַּלְתֹתָ֔יו מַנְעֻלָ֖יו וּבְרִיחָ֑יו וְ֠אֵת חוֹמַ֞ת בְּרֵכַ֤ת הַשֶּׁ֙לַח֙ לְגַן־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְעַד־הַֽמַּעֲל֔וֹת הַיּוֹרְד֖וֹת מֵעִ֥יר דָּוִֽיד׃ (ס)
Am Quellentor griff zu Sallun, Sohn des Kol-Hose, Oberster des Bezirks Mizpa; er baute es und deckte es, und setzte seine Türen ein mit Schlossern und Riegeln und die Mauer des Teiches Siloah an dem Garten des Königs, bis zu den Stufen, die hinabführen von der Stadt Davids.
