וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־יְהוָ֗ה רְ֠אֵה אַתָּ֞ה אֹמֵ֤ר אֵלַי֙ הַ֚עַל אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאַתָּה֙ לֹ֣א הֽוֹדַעְתַּ֔נִי אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־תִּשְׁלַ֖ח עִמִּ֑י וְאַתָּ֤ה אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ יְדַעְתִּ֣יךָֽ בְשֵׁ֔ם וְגַם־מָצָ֥אתָ חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינָֽי׃
Mose sprach zu dem Herrn: Siehe, du sprachst zu mir: Führe dieses Volk hinauf, aber du hast mich nicht wissen lassen, wen du mit mir schicken willst. Und doch hast du gesagt: Ich habe dich beim Namen gekannt [dich ausersehen] und du hast auch Gnade bei mir gefunden.

3. We take out two Torah [scrolls]. From the first, we read "Look, you have been telling me..." [Exodus 33:12] and the maftir reads from the sacrifices corresponding to the possible day. The haftarah is from Ezekiel, "It will come to pass on the day that Gog comes..." [Ezekiel 38:18].
