וְלָקַחְתִּ֨י אֶתְכֶ֥ם לִי֙ לְעָ֔ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָכֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים וִֽידַעְתֶּ֗ם כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם הַמּוֹצִ֣יא אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִתַּ֖חַת סִבְל֥וֹת מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Und werde euch zu meinem Volke machen und euer Gott sein, und ihr sollt erkennen, dass Ich der Herr, euer Gott, euch wegführe von der Frohnde Ägyptens.

You chose us from [among] all the peoples;1All three pilgrimage festivals are alluded to in this prayer. “You chose us from among all peoples,” etc. refers to Pesach, when God redeemed us from Egypt and took us to Himself for a people. (See Exodus 6:7)
