Tanach zu Daniel 8:25

Daniel

And until [the abode (i.e., the Temple) of] the Chief of the Host did he grow, and by him [(and his troops)] was the continual [burnt-offering] abolished, and His holy abode cast [to the ground].

Daniel

And he [(Titus)] shall forge a covenant [of peace] with the chiefs [of Israel] for one seven-year period]; but in half of that seven he will abolish sacrifice and meal-offering [viz. 8:25]. And on the height of abominations, [he shall place] "the mute [offense" (idolatry, viz. 8:13)]. And it, [(the dominion of abomination, shall endure)] until [the days of the Messiah, when] complete destruction will descend upon "the mute" [i.e., upon idolatry and its worshippers].
