וּמִדְיָ֨ן וַעֲמָלֵ֤ק וְכָל־בְּנֵי־קֶ֙דֶם֙ נֹפְלִ֣ים בָּעֵ֔מֶק כָּאַרְבֶּ֖ה לָרֹ֑ב וְלִגְמַלֵּיהֶם֙ אֵ֣ין מִסְפָּ֔ר כַּח֛וֹל שֶׁעַל־שְׂפַ֥ת הַיָּ֖ם לָרֹֽב׃
Midjan und Amalek und alle Söhne des Morgenlandes lagen im Tale, wie die Heuschrecken an Menge, und ihrer Kamele war keine Zahl, wie der Sand, der am Meeresufer an Menge.
