הַהֹלְכִים֙ לָרֶ֣דֶת מִצְרַ֔יִם וּפִ֖י לֹ֣א שָׁאָ֑לוּ לָעוֹז֙ בְּמָע֣וֹז פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְלַחְס֖וֹת בְּצֵ֥ל מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Die sich aufmachen, nach Ägypten zu gehen, aber mich befragen sie nicht; — sich zu schützen durch Pharaos Schutz und sich zu schirmen im Schatten Ägyptens.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Who go to descend into Egypt, but ask not the words of my prophets: to strengthen themselves with the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt.
