חֶצְיוֹ֙ שָׂרַ֣ף בְּמוֹ־אֵ֔שׁ עַל־חֶצְיוֹ֙ בָּשָׂ֣ר יֹאכֵ֔ל יִצְלֶ֥ה צָלִ֖י וְיִשְׂבָּ֑ע אַף־יָחֹם֙ וְיֹאמַ֣ר הֶאָ֔ח חַמּוֹתִ֖י רָאִ֥יתִי אֽוּר׃
Die Hälfte davon hat er im Feuer verbrannt, bei der Hälfte will er Fleisch essen, er bratet nämlich darauf einen Braten, dass er satt werde, wärmt sich auch und spricht: Ha, ich bin warm, ich spüre die Glut!
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
He burneth half thereof in the fire; and by the other half he eateth flesh, he roasteth meat, and is satisfied; he also warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire.
