וַתִּבְטְחִ֣י בְרָעָתֵ֗ךְ אָמַרְתְּ֙ אֵ֣ין רֹאָ֔נִי חָכְמָתֵ֥ךְ וְדַעְתֵּ֖ךְ הִ֣יא שׁוֹבְבָ֑תֶךְ וַתֹּאמְרִ֣י בְלִבֵּ֔ךְ אֲנִ֖י וְאַפְסִ֥י עֽוֹד׃
Du fühltest dich sicher in deiner Bosheit und dachtest: Niemand sieht mich. Deine Klugheit und deine Einsicht verführten dich, und du dachtest in deinem Herzen: Ich bin es und keine sonst.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness; thou hast said, None seeth thee. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge have corrupted thee; thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and there is none else besides me.
