עַל־חוֹמֹתַ֣יִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הִפְקַ֙דְתִּי֙ שֹֽׁמְרִ֔ים כָּל־הַיּ֧וֹם וְכָל־הַלַּ֛יְלָה תָּמִ֖יד לֹ֣א יֶחֱשׁ֑וּ הַמַּזְכִּרִים֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה אַל־דֳּמִ֖י לָכֶֽם׃
Über deine Mauern, Jerusalem, habe ich Wächter bestellt, alle Tage und alle Nächte, nimmer schweigen sie; die ihr anrufet den Herrn, — euch sei keine Ruhe.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Behold, the works of thy righteous fathers, O city of Jerusalem, are right, and kept by me all the day and all the night, continually; the remembrance of thine excellencies is declared before the Lord, it shall not fail you.
