וַיֻּגַּ֗ד לְבֵ֤ית דָּוִד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר נָ֥חָֽה אֲרָ֖ם עַל־אֶפְרָ֑יִם וַיָּ֤נַע לְבָבוֹ֙ וּלְבַ֣ב עַמּ֔וֹ כְּנ֥וֹעַ עֲצֵי־יַ֖עַר מִפְּנֵי־רֽוּחַ׃
Dem Hause David war zuvor also gemeldet worden: Aram lagert in Efrajim, [und beide bereiten sich vor, Jehuda anzugreifen]. Da bebte das Herz [des Achaz] und das Herz seines Volkes wie die Waldbäume vor dem Sturm.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is joined with the king of Israel to come upon him. And his heart and the heart of his people moved as the moving of the trees of the wood with the wind.
