וְהָיָ֖ה לְמִקְדָּ֑שׁ וּלְאֶ֣בֶן נֶ֠גֶף וּלְצ֨וּר מִכְשׁ֜וֹל לִשְׁנֵ֨י בָתֵּ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לְפַ֣ח וּלְמוֹקֵ֔שׁ לְיוֹשֵׁ֖ב יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
Sie werden von euch verlangen: Befraget die Beschwörer und Weissager, die da zirpen und flüstern; befragt doch ein jedes Volk seinen Gott, für die Lebendigen die Toten
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And if ye will not obey, His Word shall be amongst you for revenge, and for a stone of stumbling, and for a rock of offence to both of the houses of the princes of Israel, for destruction and for a snare, because they contend against those of the house of Judah, who are dwelling in Jerusalem.
