Targum zu Bamidbar 21:2
וַיִּדַּ֨ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל נֶ֛דֶר לַֽיהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אִם־נָתֹ֨ן תִּתֵּ֜ן אֶת־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ בְּיָדִ֔י וְהַֽחֲרַמְתִּ֖י אֶת־עָרֵיהֶֽם׃
Da tat Israel ein Gelübde dem Herrn und sprach: Wenn du dieses Volk in meine Hand gibst, so will ich ihre Städte bannen.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And Israel vowed a vow before the Lord and said, If Thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, I will destroy their cities.
