וּמַרְאֵה֙ כְּב֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה כְּאֵ֥שׁ אֹכֶ֖לֶת בְּרֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֑ר לְעֵינֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Der Anblick der Herrlichkeit des Herrn war wie ein brennendes Feuer auf dem Gipfel des Berges vor den Augen der Kinder Israel.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And the appearance of the splendour of the glory of the Lord was as burning fire with flashes of devouring fire; and the sons of Israel beheld and were awe-struck.
