וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־עָֽרֵיכֶם֙ חָרְבָּ֔ה וַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֖י אֶת־מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶ֑ם וְלֹ֣א אָרִ֔יחַ בְּרֵ֖יחַ נִיחֹֽחֲכֶֽם׃
Ich werde aus euren Städten eine Wüste machen und veröden lassen eure Heiligtümer und nicht riechen eure Wohlgerüche.
Targum Jonathan on Leviticus
And I will make your cities desert places, and desolate your sanctuary; nor will I receive with acceptance the odour of your oblations.
