Commentary for Lamentations 3:18

וָאֹמַר֙ אָבַ֣ד נִצְחִ֔י וְתוֹחַלְתִּ֖י מֵיְהוָֽה׃ (ס)

And I said: ‘My strength is perished, And mine expectation from the LORD.’

I thought that my world was ruined. I said to myself because of my many troubles, “My world and my hope are gone.”
