Commentary for Lamentations 3:57

קָרַ֙בְתָּ֙ בְּי֣וֹם אֶקְרָאֶ֔ךָּ אָמַ֖רְתָּ אַל־תִּירָֽא׃ (ס)

Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon Thee; Thou saidst: ‘Fear not.’ .

You came near on the day I called to You. So were You accustomed in the earlier days to draw near to me on the days I called.
