יְדִ֙יעַ֙ לֶהֱוֵ֣א לְמַלְכָּ֔א דִּ֣י יְהוּדָיֵ֗א דִּ֤י סְלִ֙קוּ֙ מִן־לְוָתָ֔ךְ עֲלֶ֥ינָא אֲת֖וֹ לִירוּשְׁלֶ֑ם קִרְיְתָ֨א מָֽרָדְתָּ֤א ובאישתא [וּבִֽישְׁתָּא֙] בָּנַ֔יִן ושורי [וְשׁוּרַיָּ֣א] אשכללו [שַׁכְלִ֔ילוּ] וְאֻשַּׁיָּ֖א יַחִֽיטוּ׃
Que le roi sache que les Judéens qui sont partis de chez toi sont arrivés près de chez nous à Jérusalem. Ils rebâtissent cette ville rebelle et mauvaise, réparent les murailles et creusent les fondations.
