וְעַ֥ד שַֽׂר־הַצָּבָ֖א הִגְדִּ֑יל וּמִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ הרים [הוּרַ֣ם] הַתָּמִ֔יד וְהֻשְׁלַ֖ךְ מְכ֥וֹן מִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ׃
Elle se haussa même jusqu’au chef de cette armée, dont l’holocauste perpétuel fut supprimé et la sainte résidence renversée.
Daniel
And because he prospers and succeeds [in everything he does], he will [cling to] his craftiness, and grow haughty of heart, and will destroy many [(of his allies)] with equanimity. And against the Chief of chiefs will he rise [viz. verse 11], and by a powerless one [(a mosquito [viz. Gittin 56b])] will he be broken.
