דָּבַ֨ק לְשׁ֥וֹן יוֹנֵ֛ק אֶל־חכּ֖וֹ בַּצָּמָ֑א עֽוֹלָלִים֙ שָׁ֣אֲלוּ לֶ֔חֶם פֹּרֵ֖שׂ אֵ֥ין לָהֶֽם׃ (ס)
La langue du nourrisson, altéré de soif, s’attache à son palais; les petits enfants demandent du pain: personne ne leur en offre.
Aramaic Targum to Lamentations
The tongue of the youth clings to his palate from thirst. Children ask for bread, but there is no one who offers it to them.
