Targoum sur Ruth 2:19
וַתֹּאמֶר֩ לָ֨הּ חֲמוֹתָ֜הּ אֵיפֹ֨ה לִקַּ֤טְתְּ הַיּוֹם֙ וְאָ֣נָה עָשִׂ֔ית יְהִ֥י מַכִּירֵ֖ךְ בָּר֑וּךְ וַתַּגֵּ֣ד לַחֲמוֹתָ֗הּ אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָה֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר שֵׁ֤ם הָאִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשִׂ֧יתִי עִמּ֛וֹ הַיּ֖וֹם בֹּֽעַז׃
Sa belle-mère lui demanda: "Où donc as-tu glané aujourd’hui? Où as-tu travaillé? Béni soit celui qui t’a témoigné de la bienveillance!" Ruth fit connaître à sa belle-mère chez qui elle avait fait sa besogne: "L’homme, dit-elle, chez qui j’ai travaillé aujourd’hui se nomme Booz."
Aramaic Targum to Ruth
And her mother-in-law said to her: "Where did you glean today? Where did you win favor to work? May the man who showed himself friendly to you be blessed." And she told her mother-in-law with whom she had won the favor to work. "The name of the man with whom I won favor today is Boaz," she said.
