בְּשַׁלְוָ֞ה וּבְמִשְׁמַנֵּ֣י מְדִינָה֮ יָבוֹא֒ וְעָשָׂ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־עָשׂ֤וּ אֲבֹתָיו֙ וַאֲב֣וֹת אֲבֹתָ֔יו בִּזָּ֧ה וְשָׁלָ֛ל וּרְכ֖וּשׁ לָהֶ֣ם יִבְז֑וֹר וְעַ֧ל מִבְצָרִ֛ים יְחַשֵּׁ֥ב מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖יו וְעַד־עֵֽת׃
Dengan damai ia akan datang ke daerah-daerah yang paling subur di wilayah itu. Ia akan melakukan apa yang tidak pernah dilakukan oleh para leluhurnya, bahkan oleh leluhur mereka: ia akan membagi-bagikan jarahan, rampasan, dan harta benda kepada mereka. Ia akan menyusun rencana-rencananya terhadap benteng-benteng, tetapi hanya sampai waktu tertentu.
