וְעַל֩ שַׁ֨עַר הָעַ֜יִן וְנֶגְדָּ֗ם עָלוּ֙ עַֽל־מַעֲלוֹת֙ עִ֣יר דָּוִ֔יד בַּֽמַּעֲלֶ֖ה לַחוֹמָ֑ה מֵעַל֙ לְבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔יד וְעַ֛ד שַׁ֥עַר הַמַּ֖יִם מִזְרָֽח׃
Mereka berjalan melewati Gerbang Mata Air, lalu langsung di depan mereka naik melalui tangga-tangga Kota Daud, di jalan yang naik ke tembok, melewati istana Daud, sampai ke Gerbang Air di sebelah timur.
