וַיִּפָּקְד֣וּ בַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא אֲנָשִׁ֜ים עַל־הַנְּשָׁכ֗וֹת לָא֨וֹצָר֥וֹת לַתְּרוּמוֹת֮ לָרֵאשִׁ֣ית וְלַמַּֽעַשְׂרוֹת֒ לִכְנ֨וֹס בָּהֶ֜ם לִשְׂדֵ֤י הֶעָרִים֙ מְנָא֣וֹת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם כִּ֚י שִׂמְחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה עַל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְעַל־הַלְוִיִּ֖ם הָעֹמְדִֽים׃
Pada hari itu diangkatlah orang-orang untuk mengawasi bilik-bilik perbendaharaan, yaitu untuk persembahan-persembahan unjukan, hasil pertama, dan persepuluhan, supaya di dalamnya dikumpulkan bagian-bagian yang ditetapkan oleh Taurat bagi para imam dan orang-orang Lewi dari ladang-ladang di kota-kota; sebab orang Yehuda bersukacita atas para imam dan orang-orang Lewi yang bertugas melayani.
