לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י נֹתֵ֛ן לִנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְנָשָׂ֨א הֲמֹנָ֜הּ וְשָׁלַ֤ל שְׁלָלָהּ֙ וּבָזַ֣ז בִּזָּ֔הּ וְהָיְתָ֥ה שָׂכָ֖ר לְחֵילֽוֹ׃
Sebab itu, beginilah firman Tuhan Yang Mahakekal: Sesungguhnya Aku akan menyerahkan negeri Mesir kepada Nebukadnezar, raja Babel. Ia akan mengangkut penduduknya yang banyak itu sebagai tawanan, merampas jarahannya, dan menjarah rampasannya, dan itulah yang akan menjadi upah bagi tentaranya.
