וְלֹ֤א יִשְׁכְּבוּ֙ אֶת־גִּבּוֹרִ֔ים נֹפְלִ֖ים מֵעֲרֵלִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָרְדֽוּ־שְׁא֣וֹל בִּכְלֵֽי־מִלְחַמְתָּם֩ וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ אֶת־חַרְבוֹתָ֜ם תַּ֣חַת רָאשֵׁיהֶ֗ם וַתְּהִ֤י עֲוֺֽנֹתָם֙ עַל־עַצְמוֹתָ֔ם כִּֽי־חִתִּ֥ית גִּבּוֹרִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ חַיִּֽים׃
Mereka tidak akan berbaring bersama para pahlawan, sebab mereka lebih rendah daripada orang-orang tidak bersunat yang turun ke dunia orang mati dengan senjata perang mereka. Pedang orang-orang itu diletakkan di bawah kepala mereka, dan kesalahan-kesalahan mereka tetap melekat pada tulang-tulang mereka, karena para pahlawan itu dahulu menebarkan kehancuran di negeri orang hidup.

and their iniquities were upon their bones Nothing was lacking from their iniquity, for the slaying sword did not expiate it, because they were not slain. Now what is the iniquity? That the destruction wrought by these mighty men was in the land of the living.
