הִנֵּ֣ה הַסֹּלְל֗וֹת בָּ֣אוּ הָעִיר֮ לְלָכְדָהּ֒ וְהָעִ֣יר נִתְּנָ֗ה בְּיַ֤ד הַכַּשְׂדִּים֙ הַנִּלְחָמִ֣ים עָלֶ֔יהָ מִפְּנֵ֛י הַחֶ֥רֶב וְהָרָעָ֖ב וְהַדָּ֑בֶר וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֛רְתָּ הָיָ֖ה וְהִנְּךָ֥ רֹאֶֽה׃
Lihatlah, timbunan-timbunan pengepungan telah sampai ke kota itu untuk merebutnya, dan kota itu telah diserahkan ke dalam tangan orang Kasdim yang berperang melawannya, karena pedang, kelaparan, dan penyakit sampar. Apa yang telah Kaufirmankan telah terjadi, dan sesungguhnya Engkau sendiri melihatnya.
