Kabbalah Mazmur 19:13: Zohar & Ohr Ne'erav

שְׁגִיא֥וֹת מִֽי־יָבִ֑ין מִֽנִּסְתָּר֥וֹת נַקֵּֽנִי׃

Siapakah yang dapat memahami kekhilafan-kekhilafan? Bersihkanlah aku dari kesalahan-kesalahan yang tersembunyi dariku.

Zohar

Moreover, the fact that it does not say shegioth (errors), but shigionoth, shows that the reference is to the musical instruments, like “shigayon of David” (Ps. 7, 1), which were used by all the prophets (except Moses, who was independent of external aids to prophecy), in order to enter into an ecstatic mood before receiving the spirit of prophecy (cf. I Sam. 10, 5; 2 Kings 3, 15), and Habakkuk needed the calming influence of music more than anybody.

Ohr Ne'erav

We [would have liked to] say that the meaning of the verse a prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon shigeonot is that [the prophet] was praying before his Master concerning his “infatuation.” This, however, is impossible for several reasons: 1. The verse does not concern itself with confession of sin, for “confession of sin” is nowhere written. [2.] Moreover [the verse] should [then] read “errors” (shegiot and not shigeonot). [Such] a verse exists: Who can understand errors? (Ps. 19:13). Alternatively, [let the verse read] “mistakes’ (shegagot).
