Kabbalah Yesaya 51:6: Reshit Chokhmah

Reshit Chokhmah

And our sages, may their memories bring us blessings, said: ‘the ones who merit resurrection are those about whom it is written “awake and sing for joy, you who dwell in the dust” (Isaiah 26:19). It is not stated: You who lie in the dust, but rather: “You who dwell in the dust,” indicating that only one who became a neighbor to the dust in his lifetime will be resurrected” (see Sotah 5a).’ And such a person is one who does not react to being insulted, and about that person it is written: “my victory will stand forever” (Isaiah 51:6).
