וָאֹמַ֞ר אֲהָ֣הּ ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה אָכֵן֩ הַשֵּׁ֨א הִשֵּׁ֜אתָ לָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ וְלִירוּשָׁלִַ֣ם לֵאמֹ֔ר שָׁל֖וֹם יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם וְנָגְעָ֥ה חֶ֖רֶב עַד־הַנָּֽפֶשׁ׃
Lalu aku berkata: “Ah, Tuhan Yang Mahakekal! Sungguh, Engkau benar-benar telah memperdaya bangsa ini dan Yerusalem dengan berkata: Kamu akan beroleh damai sejahtera, padahal pedang telah sampai ke nyawa.”
