כִּ֣י עַ֤ם קָדוֹשׁ֙ אַתָּ֔ה לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וּבְךָ֞ בָּחַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה לִֽהְי֥וֹת לוֹ֙ לְעַ֣ם סְגֻלָּ֔ה מִכֹּל֙ הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ (ס)
Sebab engkau adalah umat yang kudus bagi Yang Mahakekal, Allahmu, dan engkaulah yang telah dipilih oleh Yang Mahakekal untuk menjadi umat kesayangan-Nya dari antara segala bangsa yang ada di atas muka tanah.
