וְאָכַלְתָּ֣ אֶת־כָּל־הָֽעַמִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֔ךְ לֹא־תָחֹ֥ס עֵֽינְךָ֖ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְלֹ֤א תַעֲבֹד֙ אֶת־אֱלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם כִּֽי־מוֹקֵ֥שׁ ה֖וּא לָֽךְ׃ (ס)
Engkau akan menghabisi segala bangsa yang diserahkan kepadamu oleh Yang Mahakekal, Allahmu; janganlah matamu merasa sayang kepada mereka, dan janganlah engkau beribadah kepada allah mereka, sebab hal itu akan menjadi jerat bagimu.
Targum Jonathan
And thou shalt consume all the nations which the Lord thy God giveth up to thee; thine eye shall not spare them nor their idols, because they would be a stumbling block to thee.
