וְדָתָ֣א נֶפְקַ֔ת וְחַכִּֽימַיָּ֖א מִֽתְקַטְּלִ֑ין וּבְע֛וֹ דָּנִיֵּ֥אל וְחַבְר֖וֹהִי לְהִתְקְטָלָֽה׃ (פ)

Così il decreto emanò e i saggi dovevano essere uccisi; e cercarono che Daniele e i suoi compagni fossero uccisi.

And a decree was issued The law of the king and his decree were issued in the province.
