עָפְיֵ֤הּ שַׁפִּיר֙ וְאִנְבֵּ֣הּ שַׂגִּ֔יא וּמָז֨וֹן לְכֹ֖לָּא־בֵ֑הּ תְּחֹת֜וֹהִי תַּטְלֵ֣ל ׀ חֵיוַ֣ת בָּרָ֗א וּבְעַנְפ֙וֹהִי֙ ידרון [יְדוּרָן֙] צִפֲּרֵ֣י שְׁמַיָּ֔א וּמִנֵּ֖הּ יִתְּזִ֥ין כָּל־בִּשְׂרָֽא׃
Le sue foglie erano giuste e il suo frutto molto, e in esso c'era cibo per tutti; Le bestie del campo avevano ombra sotto di essa, e gli uccelli del cielo dimoravano nei suoi rami, e tutta la carne ne era nutrita.
