לָכֵ֗ן כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֤י יְהוִה֙ צְבָא֔וֹת אַל־תִּירָ֥א עַמִּ֛י יֹשֵׁ֥ב צִיּ֖וֹן מֵֽאַשּׁ֑וּר בַּשֵּׁ֣בֶט יַכֶּ֔כָּה וּמַטֵּ֥הוּ יִשָּֽׂא־עָלֶ֖יךָ בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

Perciò dice così il Signore, il DIO degli eserciti: O mio popolo che dimora in Sion, non aver paura di Asshur, sebbene ti colpisca con la verga e sollevi il suo bastone contro di te, secondo la maniera dell'Egitto.
