וְֽהַיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא לַאדֹנָ֧י יְהוִ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת י֤וֹם נְקָמָה֙ לְהִנָּקֵ֣ם מִצָּרָ֔יו וְאָכְלָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ וְשָׂ֣בְעָ֔ה וְרָוְתָ֖ה מִדָּמָ֑ם כִּ֣י זֶ֠בַח לַאדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת בְּאֶ֥רֶץ צָפ֖וֹן אֶל־נְהַר־פְּרָֽת׃
Perché il Signore, l'Eterno degli eserciti, avrà in quel giorno un giorno di vendetta, per vendicarlo dei suoi avversari; E la spada divorerà e sarà saziata, e sarà fatta ubriacare con il loro sangue; Poiché il Signore, l'Eterno degli eserciti, ha compiuto un sacrificio nel paese settentrionale vicino al fiume Eufrate.
