וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אֲלַקֳטָה־נָּא֙ וְאָסַפְתִּ֣י בָֽעֳמָרִ֔ים אַחֲרֵ֖י הַקּוֹצְרִ֑ים וַתָּב֣וֹא וַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹד מֵאָ֤ז הַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ וְעַד־עַ֔תָּה זֶ֛ה שִׁבְתָּ֥הּ הַבַּ֖יִת מְעָֽט׃
e lei disse: Lasciami spigolare, ti prego, e radunati dopo i mietitori tra i covoni; così è venuta, e ha continuato anche dalla mattina fino ad ora, salvo che si è trattenuta un po 'in casa.'

“She said: Please let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves; so she came, stood from the morning until now, she sat in the house only a bit” (Ruth 2:7).
