וַאֲנִ֣י דָנִיֵּ֗אל נִהְיֵ֤יתִי וְנֶֽחֱלֵ֙יתִי֙ יָמִ֔ים וָאָק֕וּם וָאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה אֶת־מְלֶ֣אכֶת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וָאֶשְׁתּוֹמֵ֥ם עַל־הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין מֵבִֽין׃ (פ)
E io, Daniele, venni meno e fui malato per alcuni giorni; poi mi alzai e attesi agli affari del re; ed ero sbigottito per la visione, ma non vi era chi la comprendesse.

Then the king made Daniel great [(over all the other nobles)] and gave him many costly gifts and made him ruler over the whole province of Bavel and the chief prefect over all the wise men of Bavel.
