רַ֗ק מֵעָרֵ֤י הָֽעַמִּים֙ הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לְךָ֖ נַחֲלָ֑ה לֹ֥א תְחַיֶּ֖ה כָּל־נְשָׁמָֽה׃

Tuttavia delle città di questi popoli, che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà in eredità, non salverai nulla di vivo che respira,

but of the cities of these peoples, which the Lord your God giveth you to inherit, ye shall not spare alive any breathing thing:
