וְנִשְׁאַרְתֶּם֙ בִּמְתֵ֣י מְעָ֔ט תַּ֚חַת אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֱיִיתֶ֔ם כְּכוֹכְבֵ֥י הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם לָרֹ֑ב כִּי־לֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔עְתָּ בְּק֖וֹל יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
E sarete lasciati pochi in numero, mentre eravate come le stelle del cielo per moltitudine; perché non hai ascoltato la voce dell'Eterno, il tuo DIO.
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
And you who were as the stars of heaven for multitude will be left a few people, because you hearkened not to the Word of the Lord your God.
