Targum su Ecclesiaste 2:19
וּמִ֣י יוֹדֵ֗עַ הֶֽחָכָ֤ם יִהְיֶה֙ א֣וֹ סָכָ֔ל וְיִשְׁלַט֙ בְּכָל־עֲמָלִ֔י שֶֽׁעָמַ֥לְתִּי וְשֶׁחָכַ֖מְתִּי תַּ֣חַת הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ גַּם־זֶ֖ה הָֽבֶל׃
E chi sa se sarà un uomo saggio o uno sciocco? tuttavia avrà il dominio su tutto il mio lavoro in cui ho lavorato e in cui mi sono mostrato saggio sotto il sole. Anche questa è vanità.
Aramaic Targum to Ecclesiastes
And who knows whether wise or foolish will be the king who is to be after me, and reign over all my labour which I laboured in this world, and over all which I accomplish in my wisdom under the sun in this world? and I was confounded in my heart, and again said: This, too, is vanity.
